During a simulated interview as part of this module, I received the following feedback:

Response to Feedback

The feedback I got was mostly positive as she said I communicated my ideas clearly, came across as open and welcoming, and maintained good eye contact while speaking confidently. She also suggested that I give more focused answers for challenge questions and use the STAR method. Before this interview I did not know about the STAR method, but now I can use it in future interviews to help structure my answers better and make them more detailed and clear.

I will continue to work on the qualities she listed as strong so that next time they can get up to par with my professional awareness. I’m glad that I came off as very professionally aware. It was a great experience getting to speak to her and get immediate feedback, a exercise I’ve never done before.
